About Single Volunteers of Bucks County

Single Volunteers of Bucks County (SVBC) is a group of busy, energetic individuals who enjoy making a difference in our communities and meeting new friends.  Married volunteers are welcome.

To see our upcoming volunteer projects and how you can join in the fun of volunteering, please see the listings under “Events Calendar”.

SVBC is not a dating or matchmaking service. It is an opportunity to do volunteer work and meet other volunteers.  Also, we don’t release personal information to any organization.

SVBC was formed by Marge Meehan and Charlene Briegel in June 1998. It is modeled after the Single Volunteers of America.

If you are an organization that needs volunteers, email us at svbc411@gmail.com.

Volunteering is easy. All we ask is your time to do community work. We do not require you to do a certain number of events, as we know how busy life can be.

To find out more, we have a monthly dinner meeting at 6:30 pm every fourth Tuesday of the month.  See our “Events Calendar” for each month’s restaurant. Or, signup to volunteer at an event. Either way, please email us that you’re coming. Our email address is svbc411@gmail.com.
